Mae Ping National Park is at the southern end of the Thanon Thong Chai Range, in Lamphun, Tak, and Chiang Mai Provinces in northern Thailand.
The park’s main features are the Ping River, Koh Luang Waterfall, and Thung Kik-Thung Nangu meadows. It is a fertile forest with lot of plants and animals.
General topography is steeply mountain range with average high of 900 meters above sea level. The hills are the sources of head waters for the streams flowing into Mae Ping river.
